The most interesting papers come from the Office of the Grodno governor, Grodno Gubernia authority, Grodno Gubernia Statistics Committee, inventory collections of the private manors, private collections and genealogy collections. The archive documents contain comprehensive information on the history of the former Grodno Gubernia: on the number of population and its ethnic composition, administrative division, industrial enterprises and educational establishments, the history of the Patriotic (Russian-French) war of 1812 and revolutions of 1830-1831 and 1863.
In the funds of Grodno Gubernia Authority for Peasant Issues there are also papers dedicated to the history of economy of Grodno Gubernia, preparation and complementation of Stolypin’s Agrarian Reform, peculiarities of farming activities and other issues.
The funds of economy authorities contain information on the construction, overhaul of buildings and facilities, condition of the local industry, rent and sale of the state-owned buildings, forests, loan operations and statistical data of the area.

Genealogy information comes from the funds of the self-government authorities of the social communities (gentry, merchants, clergy, etc.), fiscal and taxation institutions and some church documents.Family funds of the Bykhovtsy and Slizny landlords of the Grodno Gubernia there are private and business letters, inventories of the estates, information on mortgages, sale and inheritance of the properties. The fund of the Boulgaryns landlord family contains business and private letters.
The Fund Inventories of the landlords’ properties consists from a collection of inventories of the properties, villages, folwarks of the areas (uezds) of Grodno Gubernia. They make an important source on the history of the Belarusian village.
