Special tours

updated on 15/10/2014

These tours are often one-of-a-kind because the goal is to test-drive a tour or to visit a remote place or people on someone's special request...

Suppose you would like to visit the countryside of Belarus going as they say off the beaten track. This should envolve not just seeing the places not featured on any tour leaflets but also meeting authentic people living in our province. And perhaps seeing the tour sights that do not make the top-five visited tourist attractions in Belarus... All this being an introduction into a way of life of the Belarusians generally unavailable on standard tours =)

The solution lies here. Keen on the country's history and genealogy tours I always seem to have a few requests about specific locations and people in Belarus from the grandchildren scattered across the world. Taking a trip to this or that place is not too expensive and neither it is too demanding, but having people on board seeking unique experience a unique tourist product can be conceived during such trips.

Local ways - unique experiences

My offer is - upon your request we can take a purpose trip to one of the locations listed below to check-ask-find-meet and the budget of such a tour shall be much lower than that of a private tour to the same location mostly covering transportation and travel expenses. The deal gets me there and the deal gets you stories, landscapes and people that you will otherwise never meet. And my current research locations are:

Myadel town and nearby villages, Vitebsk Region (125 km)

Miekiany, Braslaw community, Vitebsk Region (200+ km)

Varkovichy Village, Slutsk area, Minsk region (100 km)

Pervomaisk, Antopol locality, Drogichyn District (200+ km)

Shatsk, Minsk Oblast (60 km south of Minsk)

It is possible to depart at any minute depending on my availability though an advance request for one of these will be much appreciated.
