Any passport requirements to get a visa to Belarus?

updated on 08/02/2017

Apart from all the general requirements to a passport for foreign travels there are some issues that I can recall from my days of being a travel agent.

Your passport must be in a good condition with all the images, stamps, visa stickers and writings clearly visible and not blurred or erased.

The passport must contain at least two blank pages, one of which will be used for the Belarus visa sticker (I recall an Italian with no blank pages in his passport who negotiated the visa stamp to be stuck on the passport cover, but you shouldn’t count on that – the consul will not necessarily speak Italian or be in fine mood).

The passport must expire 90 days or more after the planned date of departure from Belarus.

Questions are welcome!
