Belarus city tours
Minsk city tour, Minsk guided walk and Minsk city tour at nightNight Minsk city tour
Mood permitting, we can organize the Minsk city tour at night. In summertime the night city lighting is turned on at 1800+ local time. The best time to start is at 1900 in Minsk Old Town, in Freedom Square where the original and restored buildings of Minsk Town Hall, Gostiny Dvor, the Cathedral of Holy Virgin Mary and many others can be found.
The tour of Minsk will then take you along Pobediteley Avenue where old Soviet architecture gives way to the modern housing, trade and recreation complexes including Minsk Arena that will host the 2014 World Hockey Championship. After a look at Independence Square – the main square of Belarus - we will go straight to the National Library where at 2230 the panoramic lift will take us to the observation pad.
Our Minsk city tour will end with paying tribute to the heroes of the Second World war in Victory Square, not far from which there is a house where Mr. Lee Harvey Osvald, the alleged assassin of JFK, lived from 1959 till 1961. The transfer to the accommodation is provided, naturally.
Tour duration: 2.0+ hours, around 50 km round way.
Tour price: USD 80 (per car, 1-3 pax)*
Note: the price quoted for the present Minsk tour is for reference purposes and is confirmed upon request. It covers transportation (the standard option for 1-3 pax is Volkswagen Touareg), an English-speaking guide-driver, travel services and taxes. The exact price can be confirmed upon request. The tour is available round the week.
